Topic: Fake News and Intellectual Property
It is becoming harder and harder these days to tell what is real news and what is fake news or misinformation. The Internet is filled with a lot of information, maybe too much information, and it is challenging to tell what is real and not. The Internet also makes it very easy for us to share information that belongs to other people by mistake or inadvertently claim information as our own. This workshop aims to cover strategies on how to determine what is real news and best practices when it comes to sharing information without infringing on other's Intellectual Property.
